Beginning Sewing Club

Learn to sew and enjoy it! Beginning Sewing Club is designed to teach the fundamentals of sewing-for the new sewer, the “haven’t sewn for years” sewer, and the “I need a refresher” sewer.
Each club will be project based, teaching a sewing skill that will be explained and shown to make sure you are successful. We will help you every step of the way with a hands on approach to learning. We will show you the latest tricks and techniques as well as the tried and true methods.  We want to help you along the way so you love sewing as much as we do.  You will learn sewing terminology as well as cutting out patterns, helping you read patterns, and completing a project.
Projects will focus on a technique such as zipper insertion, elastic insertion, cording, sewing buttons and buttonholes, making a ruffle just to name a few.  As you are learning, you will meet people with the same interest in sewing and crafting.
