In this all day class, explore free motion ruler work on your home sewing machine. Start with basic free motion concepts and then continue with ruler techniques to create circle and oval designs. Add free motion stipple and feathers to accent your ruler work. Join in on the fun of using rulers for creative ways to quilt your quilt top. Students will work on a small quilt provided in a kit. Free motion experience is required for this intermediate class.

Follow the RuleR! with Special Guest Sue Nickels

In this class, play with the BERNINA Adjustable Ruler Foot and BERNINA rulers to achieve easy curves and straight lines. This approach will open the doors to many new options for free motion work on the home machine. Sue will start with basic concepts, then continue with cool and creative ideas! Traditional free motion quilting will be added after ruler work is complete. Students will work on a small 18” x 18” project provided in a kit. Join in on the fun in this relaxed and informative workshop!

BERNINA Adjustable Ruler Foot #72 and BERNINA Rulers (or equivalent) are required to take this class.
