Wedding Star Table Topper
The Wedding Star Table Topper pattern is Judy Neidermeyer’s original Wedding Star design downsized to a 2 ring by 2 ring layout, measuring 30” x 30”. This design makes a great teaching tool due to its small size, the fact that it is affordable to kit, and because students enjoy small projects that allow them to get their feet wet without the commitment to a large project. It is also just a cute size and makes a great companion project to the large quilt sizes or a stand alone accent to any table you may have in mind! This design has become a classic in the quilting industry and is one that continues to sell more each year than it did the year before.

The kit contains all materials needed to create a beautiful art quilt of a winter scene; directions, fabrics backed with an iron-on adhesive, and a stretched art canvas for hanging. Dr. Susan Kruszynski – lives in Muskegon, Michigan, and is an award-winning art quilt designer, teacher, author, and gallery artist. A native of Michigan, her works, that range in sizes from 3”x5” to 40”x60”, are often inspired by the trees and woodlands along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Susan currently divides her time between creating original collaged art quilt designs, teaching art quilting, marketing this fiber art in shows and galleries, running her Quilting Fabrics in Time business, and only just recently retired as a literacy specialist from Muskegon Community College. Susan uses her 40+ years of K-College level teaching experiences and a PhD in Education to teach this art through in-class experiences in and around the state of Michigan, through on-line instruction, and with art quilt books from Fox-Chapel Publishing.
